My name is Gu and I’m from Little Rock, Arkansas, but I’ve been in Dallas, Tx for almost 10 years. I have a huge passion for thrifting and a heart for authenticity.

  I recently launched my brand, Be Tha GU, which was born from my own life's hurdles over the last few years. I went from keeping my vision private to building every single hat from the ground up—hand-learning everything from digitizing to embroidery. What started as a personal vision in 2020 has blossomed into a movement of authenticity and strength.

  Through my hat line, GU: The Foundation, I transformed my life's trials into 10 different wearable  symbols. My mission is simple: To help you celebrate the Genuinely Unique (GU) person inside of you and to be your reminder that you can't be duplicated! Every hat I embroider is a celebration of overcoming trials and finding the strength to share your light with the world.
